Rose Armchair Edra was designed in 1990 by Masanori Umeda for Edra who created a rose shaped armchair that has been considered as a haute couture item. Petals that form the padding are hand made one by one and filled in a polyurethane foam and Dacron. The design is soft and enveloping and is combined with a surprising comfort. The structure is made of moulded metal with small parts in shaped wood. Upholstery is available in velvet in a wide selection of colours. Rose Armchair Edra is ideal for the decoration of elegant living rooms, bed rooms, waiting areas but also museums and art galleries.
